Our Pastor

Pastor Brent Endris
Currently:
In February, 2006, while on vacation in Sedona, Pastor Endris began to sense a overwhelming concern for the lost and hurting people of Arizona.  Pastor Endris felt led to extend his visit to Arizona and after a few days of prayerful consideration, God began to speak to his heart and call him to extend a daughter work from his existing congregation in Gary, Indiana, all the way to Tempe, Arizona.
On September 10th, 2006, this new work, "The Solid Rock Church", officially began at 1630 E. Apache Blvd in Tempe.  Because of the quick growth and expansion of new converts at Solid Rock, Pastor Endris resigned the church in Gary, Indiana, to put his full effort into reaching the Phoenix Valley.  In the last few months the Solid Rock Church has steadily grown and averaging 250 - 280 people on Sundays, with a record breaking count of 285.  Several are already receiving healings, miracles, deliverance, and the Gift of the Holy Spirit.  Pastor feels so strongly about the Solid Rock Church in Tempe he, with his wife and family, has completely relocated from Gary, Indiana to Tempe. In 20 months God has done many great things
Pastor Endris is casting a vision and is excited about what God is doing already here in the Valley.  If you are looking for a man of God who truly loves and cares for people, you have found such a man.  He is interested in you and will answer any questions you may have regarding his ministry.

Biography:

Early Years:
Pastor Brent Endris was born and raised in Indiana, around the Gary area. After graduating from Crown Point High, in Crown Point Indiana, Pastor attended Christian Life College in Stockton, and Extended Studies from Indiana Bible College.

1989-1994:
Pastor Endris started a church in East Chicago, Indiana.  After five years, he felt compelled by God to begin another work in Griffith, Indiana.

1995-2002:
The Church, at that time, was called Abundant Life Tabernacle, and continued in Griffith from 1995 through 2002.  Many lives were changed and made whole by the power of God.

2002-2006:
Abundant Life Tabernacle was moved to its present location in Gary, Indiana and added "The Rock" to its name.  The membership of the church grew from moderate numbers to a 450 member congregation by 2005.  God's hand was once again upon this congregation.  In one service, a woman whose entire ear drum had been removed as a child, received complete healing and was able to hear a whisper in that ear.  Another woman was completely healed of cancer as God removed it from her body.
The "Church" cannot be contained in one building, and with that vision, the church began reaching out from within its walls.  Soon a daughter work was started and now averages 100 in attendance.  A Nursing Home Ministry also averages 125 on the weekends.  Through the efforts of these ministries, the Gary church reaches approximately 700 per weekend.
